It is my intent, by way of letter, to exhort you to the times and season that is upon us as stated by Jesus in Matthew 24. It is my sincere belief that we are indeed living in the Generation of the Lord’s return. In light of this, urgency has been stirred in my heart to prepare the way of the Lord and posture my life in such a way as to be prepared to meet the Bridegroom, King and Judge. Over the years the Lord has revealed to me, by way of His word, visions and dreams, the necessity of living a life centered in this reality of the coming Day of the Lord.
As you read through these letters and ponder the meaning and relevancy of the message, keep two things in mind 1.We must return to the word of the Lord ,as He is our only true model. 2. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Test all things for the Father is seeking those who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth. Look not for the physical signs of prophecy for many, in the days Jesus was on the earth, were looking for a sign and because they were looking for things they thought must take place for the coming of the Messiah, they missed their day of visitation. Jesus said one sign shall be given and that is the sign of the prophet Jonah; Jonah called for the city to repent and later the city returned to sin and it was destroyed.
“With malice toward none; with charity for all; with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in; to bind up the nations wounds” Let us press on and look to the author and finisher of our faith, Jesus Christ. Proclaim the favorable year of our Lord and a day of vengeance of our God.

Matthew Stephen
Matthew Stephen is the father of two young adult men and
a husband. He served his country in the
U.S. Army working on Intel Operations Overseas, which led him in and out of the
White House on a few assignments. In September of 1981, after his time in the U.S. Army, Matthew came back to America and worked part time in the defense industry and with NASA. In 1979 he came to the Lord Jesus Christ as a
born again Christian, and having a heart
for ministry, began studying and taking bible classes to learn more about the
word of God. In the early eighties he began studying under John Wimber and
under his leadership began to pastor a small Vineyard fellowship. He later became involved with the Kansas City
prophetic movement and since 1979 has worked in the area of the prophetic
ministry. At the turn of 1992 he came out of the Vineyard and Kansas City
movements due to seeing much that was not in agreement with him according to
the Word of God. He began calling for a deeper commitment and understanding of
the cost of Discipleship and the cost of commitment in following Christ Jesus.
Matthew went through a deep time of searching for purity in the
Holy Word of God and calling for maturity and a spirit of repentance in the
prophetic movement and in the Church. He has worked over 25 years in the
prophetic ministry and has a deep desire to see the body of Christ, including
the youth of our day, commit to a deeper intercession of prayer. Since 1979 the
Lord has been revealing to Matthew the prophetic events that would unfold
in America and around the world. He
travels and does speaking engagements and prophetic newsletters while hosting a
weekly radio show. Pastor Matthew has started a fellowship, birthed out of
“Vine Christian fellowship” which is simply called “His Gathering”; meeting
weekly in a coffee house. One of the main thrusts of the ministry is to
reach out and feed the needy and take the gospel beyond the four walls.
